Author Biography

Nadina Lincoln is Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Nottingham and Honorary Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. She has conducted an extensive programme of research to evaluate clinical stroke services. Ian Kneebone is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Surrey Community Health and a Visiting Reader at the University of Surrey. He sees people with stroke across three services and has published on screening measures to detect psychological problems after stoke across three services and has published screening measures to detect psychological problems after stroke as well as on psychological interventions to manage them. Jamie Macniven was for several years a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist for Norttingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Course Director of the MSc programme in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Nottingham in the UK. He recently moved to New Zealand where he has taken up the post of Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton. Reg Morris is Programme Director of the South Wales Doctorate Programme in Clinical Psychology, Honorary Professor at the Cardiff University and Consultant Clinical Psychologist. He has published widely on stroke and has worked in clinical services throughout the west and south west of Britain and is currently on secondment to the Stroke Association.
