Author Biography

John Dinges is the former managing editor of NPR News and current assistant professor of journalism and director of radio at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism Anthony J. Eksterowicz is professor of political science at James Madison University Lewis A. Friedland is associate professor of journalism at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication of the University of Wisconsin, Madison Robert K. Goidel is associate professor of political science at Indiana State University David D. Kurpius is assistant professor at the Manship School of Mass Communication of Louisiana State University Deborah Potter is a former CBS news correspondent and the current executive director of NewsLab in Washington, D.C. Robert N. Roberts is professor of political science at James Madison University Jay Rosen is associate professor of journalism at New York University Thomas A. Warhover is editor of the Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, Virginia William F. Woo is the former editor of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and current Lorry I. Lokey Visiting Professor in the department of communication at Stanford University. He is also a visiting professor in journalism and media studies at Hong Kong University and a lecturer in the graduate school of journalism at the University of California, Berkeley Dwayne Yancey is the metro editor for the Roanoke Times in Roanoke, Virginia
