Author Biography

Jesper Ryberg is Professor of Ethics, University of Roskilde, Denmark. His recent books include The Ethics of Proportionate Punishment (2004) and, as editor, The Repugnant Conclusion (2005), Normative Ethics - Five Questions (2007) and New Waves in Applied Ethics (2007). He has published in various philosophical journals. J. Angelo Corlett is Professor of Philosophy and Ethics at San Diego State University. His recent books include Heirs of Oppression (forthcoming), The Errors of Atheism (2010), Race, Rights and Justice (2009), Race, Racism and Reparations (2003), and Responsibility and Punishment (2001). He is the author of numerous articles and editor of Journal of Ethics.
