Author Biography

\Kathleen Smith is a former elementary school teacher who taught intermediate-aged children for thirty one years. During her teaching career she appeared in three editions of Who's Who in American Teachers being nominated by students who were in the top 5% of their high school's graduating class. She was honored by two graduating classes from Pomona High School for being the elementary teacher who influenced them greatly and made a difference. She was nominated Teacher of the Year for Jefferson County, Colorado in 1988. She currently lives in Westminster, CO.
