Author Biography

Ralph Fletcher is a friend of writing teachers everywhere. He is the author of Boy Writers and the companion DVD, "Dude, Listen to This!" With his wife, JoAnn Portalupi, he has coauthored Craft Lessons and Nonfiction Craft Lessons in addition to several video series. Ralph has also written many books for young readers, including Marshfield Dreams: When I Was a Kid. An avid baseball fan, he also grows orchids and enjoys books, travel, movies, and dark chocolate. Ralph and JoAnn have four sons.
