Gwen Sherwood, PhD, RN, FAAN, is Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Jane Barnsteiner, PhD, RN, FAAN, is Professor of Pediatric Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in Philadelphia.
