Author Biography

Sharon A. Gutman, PhD, OTR, is currently an associate professor in Programs in Occupational Therapy at Columbia University. Her clinical expertise lies in the treatment of adults with traumatic brain injury and psychiatric disability. In the last two decades, she has taught courses and written journal articles and books regarding (a) the fundamentals of clinical neuroscience, (b) the neurologic basis of rehabilitation practices, and (c) the neurologic basis of pathological conditions including traumatic brain injury and psychiatric disability.
