Summary

This conference was mainly devoted to the application of RF power at frequencies ranging from the tens of MHZ to hundreds of GHz, to fusion plasmas. Design of RF heating and current drive systems for ITER, along with equipment development, was an important topic. The application of RF to stabilize plasma instabilities was increasingly emphasized and progress in the theory of waves and wave-particle interactions in plasmas, and code development on these issues was presented.
