Summary

Edited by a top expert, this book represents a powerful tool showing how to successfully apply ESI-MS in revealing, elucidating and helping to consolidate several proposed mechanisms of organic reactions that need to be emphasized. With an introduction by Noble laureate John Fenn

Author Biography

After being awarded his MSc in 1999 Leonardo Silva Santos joined the Universidade Estadual de Campinas in Brasil for his thesis working on the total synthesis of natural products, while also doing research for two years at the University of Chicago in 2001-2002. After beind awarded his Ph.D. in 2003 he did postdoctoral research at UNICAMP, Brasil, and at the Carl von Ossietzky Universit+ñt Oldenburg. He is currently Professor at the Universidad de Talca, Chile.
