Author Biography

Eric A. Araya nació en Antofagasta, II Región de Chile. Es comunicólogo especializado en lengua escrita y análisis lingüístico. Desde 2003 se desempeña como editor y corrector de estilo, además de traductor e investigador y compilador de corpus de lenguaje pragmático y literario. Imparte cursos de redacción y literatura y ha ejercido, en diversas instituciones culturales y educativas, la docencia en comunicación, lenguaje, redacción, gramática, semántica, retórica, narrativa, estilística, poesía y ensayo, entre otras materias. Realiza, asimismo, labores de consultoría.

Eric A. Araya was born in Antofagasta, II Region of Chile. He is a communication specialist specializing in written language and linguistic analysis. Since 2003 he has worked as editor and proofreader, as well as translator and researcher and compiler of a corpus of pragmatic and literary language. He teaches writing and literature courses and has taught, in various cultural and educational institutions, teaching in communication, language, writing, grammar, semantics, rhetoric, narrative, stylistics, poetry and essays, among other subjects. He also performs consulting work.
