Author Biography

Salvador Gómez se graduó de Ingeniero Industrial en el Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo y de la Academia Ministerial de la Iglesia Bautista Trinidad luego de completar el programa de cuatro años. Desde 1997 es miembro del Consejo de Pastores de la Iglesia Bíblica del Señor Jesucristo. Entre sus principales responsabilidades están la predicación de la Palabra todos los domingos y la coordinación de los Ministerios Timoteo, los cuales tienen como objetivo promover el discipulado y las misiones dentro y fuera de la iglesia local. Durante varios años fue miembro de la junta directiva del Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary en Owensboro, KY, donde ha impartido algunos cursos en español en sus extensiones latinoamericanas. Participa como predicador invitado en congresos nacionales e internacionales. Es autor de los libros Amigo de pecadores, Apagando la ira y Mil citas edificantes. Está casado con su esposa Johanny desde hace 28 años, con quien tiene cuatro hijos: Mónica, Javier, Verónica y Gabriel.

Salvador Gómez graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo and from the Ministerial Academy of Trinity Baptist Church after completing the four-year program. Since 1997, he has been a member of the Pastors Council of Iglesia Bíblica del Señor Jesucristo. Among his main responsibilities are preaching the Word every Sunday and coordinating the Timothy Ministries, which aim to promote discipleship and missions within and outside the local church. For several years, he was a member of the board of directors of the Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary in Owensboro, KY, where he has taught some courses in Spanish at their Latin American extensions. He participates as a guest preacher in national and international conferences. He is the author of the books Friend of Sinners, Quenching Anger, and A Thousand Edifying Quotes. He has been married to his wife Johanny for 28 years, with whom he has four children: Mónica, Javier, Verónica, and Gabriel.
