Bruce Kinzer, Emeritus Professor of History, Kenyon College,Molly Baer Kramer, Staff member and adjunct instructor, Portland State University,Richard Trainor, Rector, Exeter College, University of Oxford

Bruce Kinzer arrived at Kenyon College in 2000. His Previous posts included four years as a post-doctoral fellow on the John Stuart Mill Project at the University of Toronto, four years in McMaster University's History Department, and sixteen years in the History Department of the University of
North Carolina at Wilmington. He did a four-year stint as department chair in Wilmington before doing the same at Kenyon. He has been a visiting fellow at Corpus Christi College Oxford and Wolfson College Cambridge. His work as a publishing scholar has focused chiefly on the political thought and
activity of J.S. Mill.

Molly Baer Kramer is a faculty projects manager and adjunct instructor at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. She was a Rhodes Scholar in 1992 and matriculated at Oxford in 1993. She completed her DPhil 'A More Humane Society': Animal Welfare and Human Nature in England, 1950-1976 at
Wadham College, Oxford, with Brian Harrison as supervisor, in 2016. She has accrued decades of experience working in and with NGOs, primarily in nature conservation, as a manager, fundraiser, and consultant. She is currently working on a comparative history of the British and American animal
protection movements after the Second World War.

Richard Trainor has been Rector of Exeter College, Oxford since 2014, and a PVC since 2016; he also chaired Oxford's Conference of Colleges 2017-19. He was Principal of King's College London 2004-14, and President of Universities UK 2007-9. Educated at Brown, Princeton, and Oxford, he held
appointments at Glasgow (professor of social history, dean, and vice principal) and Greenwich (vice chancellor) Universities. Economic History Society President 2013-16, he is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. His published work has focused on the social history of nineteenth and twentieth
century Britain, especially the urban middle class, its elites, and their involvement in universities.
