Summary

This book tells the story of a Colombian prostitute whose clients were famous drug lords. The book is set on the 80s in Medellín, Colombia, a country caught up in drug wars. The luxury and the power of the drug lords contrasts with the poverty of most of the population.

Author Biography

Vanessa Luma was born on 1974 in Barcelona, Spain. She studied Political Science in the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona and a Masters in International Relations in Madrid. She is currently studying a PhD. With this story, Vanessa puts a face on a reality and a historical moment of Colombia. This book is based on hours of interviews with "Lucfa", the main character of the novel.
