Author Biography

Mark Csikszentmihalyi is an Assistant Professor of Religion at Davidson College. Robert G. Henricks is Professor of Chinese Religions at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Philip J. Ivanhoe is an Associate Professor in the departments of Asian Languages and Cultures and Philosophy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Liu Xiaogan is a senior lecturer in the Department of Chinese Studies at the National University of Singapore. Bryan W. Van Norden is an assistant professor in the Philosophy Department and Asian Studies Program at Vassar College. Isabelle Robinet is professor of Chinese History and Civilization at the University of Aix-Marseille. Harold D. Roth is Associate Professor of Religious Studies and East Asian Studies at Brown University. Tateno Masami is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chinese Studies at Nihon University. Zhang Longxi is professor of Comparative Literature at the University of California, Riverside, and chair professor of Comparative Literature and Translation at the City University of Hong Kong.
