Piya Pangsapa is in the department of Global Gender Studies at the University of Buffalo, where he researches gender, work and civic engagement in Southeast Asia. Mark J. Smithis in the department of Politics & International Studies at theOpen University, where he researches environmental responsibility, transnational corporations, civic engagement and the role of ethics in politics and the environment.
