Author Biography

David H.J. Morgan is Emeritus Professor of Sociology, University of Manchester, UK. He has also been a visiting professor at the Norwegian Technical University, Trondheim. David is the author of several books on family studies and gender, the most recent being Acquaintances: The Space Between Intimates and Strangers. He is a former President of the British Sociological Association.
