Reveal the dynamic process of development from early adulthood to end of life
Revel™ The Journey of Adulthood
explains the development of adults as they leave adolescence and move through their adult years until the end of life. Referencing both large longitudinal studies and smaller studies of diverse groups, the text helps students see the influences of gender, culture, ethnicity, race, and socioeconomic background upon aging. Joining author Barbara Bjorklund for the 9th Edition, new co-author Julie Earles brings a fresh perspective to the text. In addition, the 9th Edition offers fully updated content and research citations to reflect the rapidly changing field of adult development.

Revel is Pearson’s newest way of delivering our respected content. Fully digital and highly engaging, Revel replaces the textbook and gives students everything they need for the course. Informed by extensive research on how people read, think, and learn, Revel is an interactive learning environment that enables students to read, practice, and study in one continuous experience — for less than the cost of a traditional textbook.
