Author Biography

Marvin Zonis, professor emeritus of international political economy at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, is the author of The Eastern European Opportunity and Majestic Failure: The Fall of the Shah. Dan Lefkovitz works on Morningstar's European research effort. He has written for Asian Wall Street Journal, the Far Eastern Economic Review, and the Jerusalem Post. Sam Wilkin, associate director of the consultancy practice at Oxford Analytica, has written for the Financial Times, Barron's, Risk Management. The Banker, and World Trade. Joseph Yackley is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Chicago and covers the Middle East for the Oxford Business Group. He has written for Reuters, Internationale Politik.
