A guidebook to cycling the 890km (553 mile) River Rhone cycle route from the Swiss Alps to the Mediterranean Sea. This long-distance cycle through Switzerland and France is suitable for both first-time and experienced long-distance cyclists and can be cycled in 2 weeks.
- Presented as 20 stages between 24-65km (15-40 miles) in length
- Route passes through Martigny, Montreux, Geneva, Lyon, Vienne, Valence, Montélimar, Avignon and Arles
- The route uses two waymarked national cycle trails, the Swiss R1 Rhone Route and the French ViaRhona, which together form the EuroVelo route EV17
- Suitable to be cycled April through October
