Author Biography

The author was born and raised in a historic old Riverfront Town along the Waccamaw River deep down in the southeast. He spent many summers on the island as a young child growing up, and his experiences from those years has compelled him to come back to his roots now that he is retired, to record the history of the people and the area as seen from his perspective and vantage point.
