Author Biography

Genichi Taguchi (Japan) is executive Director of American Supplier Institute and President of Ohken Associates in Japan. He developed the Taguchi Method. He is a 3-time recipient of the Deming Prize. Subir Chowdhury (Livonia, MI) is a VP of American Supplier Institute. He is the recipient of the Henry Ford II Awarded for Excellence, and co-authored QS-9000 Pioneers: Register Companies Share Their Strategies for Success. Shin Taguchi (Livonia, MI) is President of American Supplier Institute and the foremost consultant on the Taguchi Method in the U.S. He has consulted on more than 500 projects, and since 1993, has participated in over 80 pure robust design cases at Ford Motor Co.
