Author Biography

David Rowe spent some of his evenings during the 1960s at an Austin dealership before taking on a full time role as an accounts clerk and then accountant at a Ford dealership and subsequently spending many years working in the accounts departments of three other motor dealerships. He has helped to build and race cars, holds voluntary positions as treasurer for two car clubs and enjoys Driving Experience days. David has written several books, including Ford Cars: Ford UK cars 1945-1995, Rootes Cars of the 1950s, 1960s & 1970s; Austin Cars 1948 to 1990, and Wolseley Cars 1948 to 1975.
