From his first ride with an old farmer and his mutt Snooper in a venerable old green Dodge pickup, to his encounters with thieves and robbers, punks and good guys, Canadian Mounties and innocent young girls away from home who need a Paladin to protect, friends and foes, the wife of a U.S. Marine Major carrier fighter pilot who wrote poetry and fought the Japanese at Guadalcanal in WWII and the North Koreans during the Korean War, all have their own stories to tell and play important, roles in Clayson's search for respect, manhood, Alaska, life and adventure. Although this is a novella trilogy, it is infused with many fictionalized real events that occurred years ago. From myself, my father, my heroes and those I still want to forget but can not.My books have ties with each other that you will recognize as you read my creations, from the Guadalcanal Campaign, to The Rio Rincon Saga, to Route Alcan, and on to books in progress and stories yet conceived. And, they all have a common thread in my prose poetry, each of which tells a story of its own.
