Summary

The International Handbook of Innovation Education will be the very first handbook about innovation education. It opens an entirely new direction in education. The overall goal of the handbook is to provide a direct answer to the question of how to develop innovators in general and how to develop the innovative potential of today¿s young people with exceptional talents in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines in particular. It will be devoted to the multidisciplinary and multifaceted nature of innovation education, its foundations and main components, the current state of research and future developments. The purpose of the handbook is to present the existing knowledge on this multidimensional phenomenon from the viewpoints of various scientific disciplines (i.e., mainly innovation, psychology of high ability and talent, gifted education, and science education), as well as technology and bu
