Author Biography

Paul Volponi is the author of Rooftop and Black and White, which won the IRA Children-'s Book Award for Young Adult Fiction in 2006. From 1992 to 1998, he taught adolescents on Rikers Island in New York City to read and write. He lives in New York City.
