Author Biography

Thompson Lenfestey studies marine science and served as an operations officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. A resident of Florida, he is the author of the highly successful Gunkholer's Cruising Guide to Florida's West Coast.

Captain T. Lenfestey Jr. is a professional mariner. He holds a Master of Steam and Motor Vessels Upon Oceans, 1600 Gross Tons, Endorsed for First Class Pilotage, Any Gross Tons, Tampa Bay.
