Author Biography

Richard Combs has hunted three continents, authored four books and contributed to numerous others, penned stories for most of the major outdoor publications, and has been a regular contributor or field editor to Canoe, Bowhunting World, and Bugle. He has won numerous awards from the Outdoor Writers of America, and has served as a communications and new product-development consultant in the hunting industry. Combs currently co-hosts The Big Outdoors radio program, airing weekly on WLW in Cincinnati, where he resides with his wife Claire, daughters Hillary and Haley, and dog Jasper.
