Author Biography

Dr. Wang Ling is a professor and doctoral supervisor specializing in Innovation Economics and Management at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). She is also the director of the Center for Enterprise Patent Strategy at CUPL. She brings a unique perspective to her field with a remarkable academic journey that spans the fields of patent system economics, enterprise patent strategy, innovation management, and industrial economics. Before joining CUPL in 2006, she conducted post-doctoral research at Tsinghua University. She worked as a visiting scholar at Stanford University (2009-2010) and the University of Surrey (2022-2023). She has authored or co-authored more than 50 articles in academic journals, including Technovation, IBM Journal of Research and Development, and Expert System with Application. She has received numerous awards, including the Excellent Teaching Achievement Award of CUPL and the Beijing Teaching Achievement Award. Dr. Lei Jiasu is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Tsinghua University’ s School of Economics and Management. He is also the director of the Center for Chinese Enterprise Growth and Economic Security at Tsinghua University. He is renowned for his innovation, entrepreneurship, enterprise growth expertise, and dedication to national economic security. Dr. Lei has an impressive publication record, comprising over 200 academic papers and 30 monographs and textbooks. Primary funding agencies have supported his research and have earned him recognition, including first prizes in Science and Technology Progress and the National Excellent Achievement Award of Universities. He is highly regarded for his exceptional teaching achievements. He has received numerous awards, including the Excellent Teaching Achievement Award of Tsinghua University and the National Education Reform and Innovation Teacher Excellence Award. Dr. Zhang Qingzhi is an associate professor and master’ s supervisor at the School of Public Policy and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. With a Ph.D. in Management and a postdoctoral research background at Tsinghua University, she specializes in innovation management, science and technology policy, intellectual property management, and industrial economics. She worked as a visiting scholar at Boston University (2010– 2011) and Nottingham University (2020– 2022). Zhang has actively contributed to various national research projects and has published extensively in renowned domestic and international journals. Her remarkable achievements include receiving prestigious awards such as the Beijing Social Science Award and the China Soft Science Award, recognizing her significant contributions to her field.
