Summary

This book documents the work of Betty Davenport Ford from 1941 to the present, summarizing her career as sculptor and teacher. It has a hard cover, 9"x 12" format, 176 pages and 440 photos. The introduction is by well-known watercolor artist, Milford Zornes who owns a large collection of her work.

Author Biography

This book was compiled by Harold H. Ford the artist's husband of 55 years. Harold received an Engineering degree and a graduate degree in Industrial Design from Caltech. After acquiring an old German camera as one of the first purchases after their marriage, Harold kept a complete photographic record of Betty's sculpture. He assisted Betty in every way he could and tried to provide a creative environment in which she could work. Most important of all he was tolerant of the creative chaos of an artist's household.
