Jean-Dominique Augard is a historian. Peter Hughes is chief curator of the Wallace Collection in London. Tamara Rappe is the director of the European decorative arts department at the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg. Jean-Nérée Ronfort is a specialist in the work of André Charles Boulle. Ulrich Schneider is a professor and the director of the Frankfurt Museum for Applied Art.
