Author Biography

Don Diego Torres y Vargas (1615–70) was a Catholic priest and the Cathedral Canon of the Diocese of Puerto Rico. Anthony M. Stevens is professor emeritus of Puerto Rican and Latino Studies at Brooklyn College, the City University of New York.
