<b>Dr. Gary D. McKay, Ph.D.</b> is the coauthor with Dr. Don Dinkmeyer, Sr, Dr. Joyce L. McKay and others of 11 books and parent and teacher education programs including STEP, the world’s leading parent education program. <br>He holds a Ph.D. in counseling and guidance from the University of Arizona and is a licensed psychologist, and clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. A former teacher and counselor, and an international educational and psychological consultant, he has conducted workshops in human relations and is the co-leader of a family education program in Tucson, Arizona. <br>He has received awards for contributions to the counseling field from the Adlerian Society of Arizona, North American Society of Adlerian Psychology and the International Association of Marri
