Born in Rome, Morricone wrote more than five hundred soundtracks for a wide variety of genres and received the Honorary Academy Award for career achievement in 2007. The book is a portrait of the artist with many private, mostly unpublished photographs accompanied by many stunning film stills and music of Morricone´s work.
