The works are selected as representative of the best of Finnish-North American Literature written in English by developed, multiple-book authors who are by varying degrees ethnically Finnish.

Author Biography

Dr. Virtanen, Ph.D, is Professor and Paloheimo Scholar in the Department of Language and Literature at Finlandia University. She founded the Finnish-North American authors and poets, and maintains its website, including the bibiography of Finnish-North American literature.
