Author Biography

Mary Pope Osborne is the author of all the Magic Tree House books, American Tall Tales (Knopf), New York's Bravest (Knopf), numerous collections for Scholastic as well as Dear America titles, and picturebooks for Simon and Schuster. Her two middle-grade mysteries starring a super-sleuth spider and his loyal band of insects is being collected in March 2006's Mysteries of Spider Kane (Yearling). The author lives in Goshen, CT.
