When the police arrive, the body lies on the patioof a nearby home and the balloon has disappeared.The owner of the home, Bill Hamilton, a salesman, and hiswife April, a legal assistant, are warned in an email not todisclose to the police something undefined hidden on theirproperty. They have no idea what the email was referring to;crime scene officials apparently found nothing.The Hamilton's are then stalked by a sadistic criminal. Theycannot fathom why. Nothing had been disclosed. They knownothing to disclose. They must nullify the threat by solving the murder on theirown. The police, acting on a different theory, will not help.Possibly culpable characters are involved in a series ofaffairs that swirl around like New Mexico desert dust devils,further confusing the baffling case.
