Summary

Denarius Payne has his mind set on following in his big brother's footsteps. In his last year of school, he was enrolled in the R.O.T.C. program, and was set to go to the Army following graduation. When Denarius was influenced by an older gentleman in the drug trade; to make a couple of extra dollars on the side, his entire plan to make those few extra dollars was foiled when Denarius is caught up in a drug sting operation. Denarius finds himself now with a felony and a thirst for money, and all that the drug trade has to offer. He quickly finds out that this is a business where no one is your friend.

Marcus is from Cleveland, Ohio, and he is the author of the urban fiction series called, "The Set Up."
