Author Biography

Richard W. Oliver is a professor at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He was previously Vice President of Marketing at Nortel and a marketing executive at DuPont. Dr. Oliver serves on the Boards of Directors of six U.S. companies and consults to organizations around the world. He is the coauthor, with William Jenkins, of the 1998 best-seller The Eagle and the Monk: 7 Principles of Successful Change.
