Author Biography

An experienced art teacher and blogger, Kathy Barbro started her website ArtProjectsforKids.org more than ten years ago, when she began teaching art at her son's elementary school. Many years of teaching both during and after school have allowed her to try out hundreds of new projects, and find which ones were "keepers" and which were not. Kathy posts new projects to her site daily and is active on several social media platforms. Prior to becoming the Professional Expert in Visual Arts at her local elementary school, Kathy earned her B.F.A. at Minneapolis College of Arts and Design and enjoyed a 20-year career as a graphic designer.
