Author Biography

Doug Lansky is an American travel writer, speaker, and tourism development advisor. He spent ten years traveling around the world, visiting 120 countries. He has contributed to magazines such as Esquire, Men's Journal, National Geographic Adventure, and Reader's Digest, and to public radio. He has written books for Rough Guides and Lonely Planet as well as a nationally syndicated travel column and hosted a show for the Discovery Channel.
