Summary

Manage your life . . . and your dates, family, friends, and boss.
What’s life like for the single girl in the post–Sex and the City and Bridget Jones era? Imogen Lloyd Webber tells all in a smart and sassy guide to work, mind, body, home, friends, socializing, and, of course, dating and sex. She even creates her own shorthand for discussing relationships, explaining what the difference is between a SMBF (Straight Male Best Friend) and a PMDL (Promise Much, Delivers Little) boy. You’ll find funny and realistic girl talk about anything and everything a single gal has to deal with, such as:
  • Dating
  • Valentine’s Day
  • Dealing with family
  • Being a “plus one” to gynecologist appointments
  • Apartment decorating
  • Roommate disasters

  • With her pithy advice, Lloyd Webber helps women take control of their own independence, giving real-life examples of how her friends and acquaintances navigate careers, relationships, and social obligations. Of course, the focus is always on the fabulous single girl herself and how to cultivate her best self. Unapologetic and scathingly honest, The Single Girl’s Survival Guide is as entertaining as it is instructive. You won’t want to put it down!
