Award-winning food writer Penny Oliver has been delighting New Zealanders with her tasty recipes for more than 25 years. Penny often cooks for herself at home and has a number of friends who live alone, so she understands all too well the obstacles that can arise when preparing food for one. It was this that motivated her to write her fifth cookbook, Single Serve, to show that cooking for yourself does not have to be a chore but can instead be a pleasure. Penny lives in Auckland and has also written for a number of magazines and authored the bestselling Beach, Bach, Boat, Barbecue series of cookbooks.
