Author Biography

Thomas McCarty (Schaumburg, IL), Vice President of Consulting and Training Services at Motorola University, is responsible for improving the business performance of Motorola's suppliers, partners, and customers through consulting on performance, process, and continuous improvement.

Michael Bremer (Hinsdale, IL) is the President of the Cumberland Group, a consulting firm that specializes in process and business performance improvement and is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt from Motorola.

Lorraine Daniels (Tempe, AZ) is a Professor of Industrial Engineering at Arizona State University. She is a certified blackbelt and is a Chief Instructor at Motorola.

Praveen Gupta (Schaumburg, IL) is a PE, Master Black Belt, and ASQ Fellow. Praveen, who was there at time and place of the birth of Six Sigma, has taught Six Sigma at Motorola University for over ten years. His first Six Sigma project was completed in 1988.
