In Sky Dance, 12-year-old Marc desperately wants to be an acrobat. His buddy Gentle, a Parasaurolophus, desperately wants to be a musician, using the fantastic sounds that he makes with his crest. But their talents have never lived up to their childhood fantasies. However, when a troupe of dinosaur and human entertainers comes to town, Marc and Gentle are able to convince the leader to allow them to travel along. Here is their big chance! Along the way, they learn many lessons about their crafts and themselves. But the biggest lesson of all comes when tragedy strikes and lightning strands part of the audience on a perilous mountain peak. Only Marc and Gentle are there to help, but will their newfound skills be enough to save the victims' lives?
