Author Biography

Matthew Sharpe is the author of the novel Nothing Is Terrible (2000) and the short-story collection Stories from the Tube (1998). He teaches creative writing at Columbia University, Bard College, and in New York City public schools. His stories and essays have appeared in Harper's, Zoetrope, BOMB, American Letters and Commentary, Southwest Review, and Teachers and Writers magazine.
