Summary

This edition includes a critical introduction to MacDonald's poetry by Ronald Black (Raghnall MacilleDhuibh), who is a lecturer in Celtic in Edinburgh University and Gaelic Editor of the Uist community newspaper Am Paipear. There is a Gaelic preface by Angus Peter Campbell, and the poet himself is introduced in Gaelic and English by Alick O'Henley and Henry Marsh. Many of the most interesting poems are translated by Ronald Black and MacDonald himself.
