Summary

Have you ever heard of a snake without a hiss? Well, neither had Albert, the youngest member of the snake family who finds himself in exactly that situation. Some of his other 'œsnaky' skills leave something to be desired as well, assuring that he is scarcely noticed. Being the smallest member of the family doesn't help either. He is, however, the best hunter of the clan, able to find victims on any day, in any weather. But even that isn't always a blessing for Albert when he can't scare who he finds and ends up on the wrong side of the encounter. That's when his siblings take over, having all the scary fun, then teasing their 'œlittle' brother. But Albert can take just so much. Will he finally win his place in the family? Or will he be an outcast, destined to live in his siblings' long, snaky shadows?
