Summary

This book was written with five categories of people in mind: those who are called to be followers, those who are tired of being followers, those who aren't sure if they're followers or leaders, those who question if there is any value in being a follower and for leaders who want to relate better to followers.

The truth is that everyone follows someone, sometime, says the author. For Christ-followers particularly, the Bible rather than culture should be the model. Hahn, himself a follower in the process of becoming a leader, ably addresses such subjects as ambition gone bad, the desire for power, qualities of servants, disciplines that leads to freedom, relationships with leaders and other pertinent issues.

Author Biography

Todd Hahn is the lead pastor of Warehouse 242, a church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ordained in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, he is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and a doctoral candidate at the same institution
