Author Biography

William C. Harvey is founder of Language Services Institute, a highly-successful conversational Spanish program aimed specifically at meeting the needs of today's busy adult learner. For the past 20 years he has taught Spanish and ESL (English as a Second Language) in school districts and community colleges, as well as in private industry. He has also traveled extensively throughout the West Coast giving workshops and seminars to teachers and professional organizations. Mr. Harvey holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a master's degree in Bilingual-Bicultural Education from Cal State University, Fullerton, where he received the "Project of the Year" award for his work in ESL Curriculum Development. Bill has written several books for Barron's, including Spanish for Law Enforcement, Household Spanish, Spanish for Healthcare Professionals, and Spanish for Educators.
