Author Biography

Ruth Jeyaveeran was born in Africa, raised in the Midwest, and currently paints in Brooklyn. Like Sophie, she’s slightly obsessed with skateboarding. Unlike Sophie, she’s unwilling to suffer broken bones for her art. The rest of the time Ruth brightens up her dimly lit basement studio with the illustrations for her children’s books. She’s hard at work on her third one right now.
